Melodic Dictation, Simple Meter, Easy Examples
These examples exhibit the following characteriestics,
- Four measures long
- Simple duple, triple and quadruple meters with quarter note beats
- Whole, dotted-half, half, quarter, dotted-quarter, and eighth notes
- Major keys of C, G, and F
- Bass and treble clefs
- Tempo = 60 bpm
Grab some blank staff paper (get some here - http://jlamusic.com/Learn/staffpaper/staffpaper.html) and create a blank 4-measure line for each of the following examples. The starting note, clef, and time signature is provided for you.
