Skill Seven: Adding more video and audio tracks to the timeline

By default, PowerDirector adds at least one of each of the following tracks: video/audio, effects, audio, music, and text. But let's say you want to play three video clips at the same time in three different parts of the movie screen (split screens). You can add extra video and audio tracks by right-clicking in the column at the left side of the timeline (where the radio buttons and lock icons are located). After you right-click this area, a pop-up menu will appear. Left-click on "Add Tracks...". A window will appear that will allow you enter the number of video and audio tracks you wish to add, as well as where they will be added (above or below existing tracks).
